Maverick Flowers
Chief Compliance Officer
Maverick Flowers is ARC labs' Chief Compliance Officer. Maverick interned for the Hon. R. David Proctor in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. He then spent time as a Fellow for the Colorado Department of State, where he assisted in the reform of the Colorado Open Records Act (“CORA”). Maverick also worked in the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. There he assisted low-income clients with tax assessment, collection, and appeals matters. He helped launch the clinic’s first social media and marketing strategy. Maverick likes to stay involved in his community. He is currently is Co-Chair of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division’s Tax Committee. Additionally, He is the Secretary and an Executive Board Member for Tax Forward, a non-profit volunteer organization of tax professionals focusing on networking, mentorship, and development of tax skills through continuing education. Additionally, he volunteers to advise University of Colorado students as an Alumni Advisory Board member for the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Maverick is from the Denver area but grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and cheering on his beloved alma mater the Alabama Crimson Tide.
